Intro: What It Means to Own Your Life
The Ownership Series
One of the themes you will see over and over in my writing is ownership. Sometimes I say it directly, other times it is implied, but it is always there. I believe ownership is the key to changing how you see the world and how you respond to it. That is why I want to spend some time breaking it down in this series.
To me, ownership shows up in two forms: objective and personal. Objective ownership is about removing yourself from a situation to see it clearly. Personal ownership is about taking full responsibility for your thoughts, emotions, and reactions. At first they may sound like opposites, but they are tied together. One clears the fog in front of you, the other clears the fog inside of you.
This series is going to dig into both sides of ownership, why they matter, and how they can completely change the way you live.
Takeaway: ownership is accountability in action. Start here and you will see things differently.
